You Are Pretty is a dark comedy about the demise of the Hippie Ho House, a fictional brothel in modern-day rural Nevada. Inspired by the HBO documentary ‘Cathouse’ and based loosely on the story of the Mustang Ranch, You Are Pretty focuses on the intertwining stories of brothel owner Jimmy Jolly and Dr. Alexandra Manning, author of the controversial book You Are Pretty: Inside Nevada’s Legal Brothels. As Jimmy Jolly is forced to confront the ghosts of his past, Dr. Manning finds herself in the talk show hot seat during her book tour as she must defend her support of legal prostitution as a scholar, feminist, lesbian, and as it is finally revealed, as Bunny, the top prostitute at the Hippie Ho House.
